Account Settings

Account Details

  1. Use the main menu to navigate to: Settings > Account Settings

  2. Update or amend your account settings, including:
    • Account Name (individual name or company name) - is used for certificates and emails
    • Address (optional – will be included on invoices)
    • VAT number (business accounts only) – this is used for invoicing
    • Account Type – business or individual

  3. Please select ‘save changes’ once complete

Account Code – this is automatically issued upon sign-up and is unique to every account. You can this code onto anyone who wants to plant a tree into a specific account.


Members

  1. You can view, edit, add and remove members from your account

  2. To change the account permissions of the current members with access to your account, you can change via the dropdown under ‘role’:
    • An owner will have permissions to perform all actions on the account.
    • A supervisor will have restricted permissions such as not being able to invite, edit or remove users, edit account information, and close accounts.
    • A member will only be able to plant trees with credits, view account activity and credit balance, as well as view account information.

  3. To remove a member from your account:
    • Select the bin icon on the far right of the member that you want to remove.

  4. To invite a new member > click here
    • The invited member will receive an email

Tiered Accounts

User Profile

  • A user profile is specific to you and contains all of your personal information including; name, email address and marketing preferences.

Accounts

  • An account is a collection of user profile(s) which allows the ability to collectively plant trees for both itself and for others.
  • There are 2 types of accounts available for users; Individual and Business, which are available to select at registration.
  • A user profile can be associated with multiple accounts.

There are 3 roles that a user can be assigned when joining an account; Owner, Supervisor or Member. By default, the user that creates an account will be assigned as an Owner. Below you can view the permissions each role consists of:


  • An owner will have permission to perform all actions on the account.
  • A supervisor will have restricted permissions such as not being able to invite, edit or remove users, edit account information and close accounts.
  • A member will only be able to plant trees with credits, view account activity and credit balance, as well as view account information.

Change Password

  1. Go to Settings > Profile Settings

  2. Click on ‘Change Password’ in top right hand corner

  3. Your new password must contain:
    • At least 8 characters
    • At least 3 of the following:
      • Lower case letters (a-z)
      • Upper case letters (A-Z)
      • Numbers (0-9)
      • Special characters (e.g. !@#$%^&*)

  4. Proceed to reset password

  5. Login with new password

Create New Account

Either:

  1. Use the main menu to navigate to Settings > Profile Settings
  2. My Account > Create Account

Or:

  1. Click on the top dropdown button with account name and account code.
  2. Select ‘create new account’

Then:

  1. Choose Account Type > Individual or Business
  2. Add Account or Business Name *this will appear on all tree planting certificates and invoices
  3. You can edit account information by clicking on the far right edit icon, which will take you to account settings

Delete Account

To delete your account, please email us at info@moretrees.eco, specifying the More Trees account code.


*you must be an owner of the account in order to request deletion.


If you wish to transfer ownership of the account to another member, rather than deleting the account, you can either change an existing member’s role to ‘Owner’ or invite a new member as an owner via the ‘Members’ section in Settings > Account Settings.


Delete User Profile

Deleting your user profile means that all personal information provided will be erased and the ability to plant trees via an account will be revoked.


If you have any active accounts attached to your user profile that you’re the sole owner of, you can either transfer ownership to an existing or new member (see Transfer Ownership section below), or delete the account(s).


Please email info@moretrees.eco outlining whether you want to:

  1. Only delete user profile (you must email us from the email address associated with your user profile)
  2. Delete user profile and delete any accounts that you’re the sole owner of. (please specify the More Trees account code(s))

Transfer Ownership

If you wish to transfer ownership of the account to another member, you can either change an existing member’s role to ‘Owner’ or invite a new member as an owner via the ‘Members’ section in Settings > Account Settings.


Please note, the new member will need to accept the invitation before the ownership will be transferred to them.
