Payments and invoices

Overview

There are a variety of ways to pay on the (more:trees) platform:
 

Tree planting

  • Pay as you plant (only available when planting manually)
  • Pre-loading your account
  • Auto top-up
  • Monthly subscription

Carbon credits

  • Pay at the point of purchase

Pay as you plant

To pay at the point of planting trees on the platform:

  1. Follow the instructions for manual tree planting
  2. You will then be prompted to enter your card details

Pre-loading your account

Tree credits are a way to pre-load your account and then deduct from the balance when planting trees manually, in bulk or via automation. 

  1. Use the main menu to navigate to Trees > Payment > Pre-load account 
  2. Enter the number of credits you wish to purchase
  3. Click Proceed to payment
  4. Follow the instructions for either:
    • Paying by debit/credit card
    • Paying by bank transfer

Please note while bank transfers are usually received and processed within a couple of hours, it can take up to two working days.

Auto top-up

Auto top-up, automatically pre-loads your account with tree planting credits when they fall below a set limit, using a saved credit/debit card.

This is useful when planting automatically. 

  1. Use the main menu to navigate to Trees > Payment > Auto top-up
  2. Enter the auto-top up criteria – e.g. when my balance falls below 5, top-up by £100
  3. Enter your card details
  4. Click Save and then make sure the status is set to active

Monthly subscription

By setting up a monthly subscription, you can automate monthly tree planting and payments

  1. Use the main menu to navigate to Trees > Plant trees > Subscribe
  2. Chose or create a monthly subscription
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions for entering your payment details

Carbon credits

Carbon credits can be paid for at the point of purchase, using a debit or credit card.

Invoices and VAT receipts

If you require an invoice in advance of payment, please email your request to [email protected]

To access VAT receipts:

  1. Use the main menu to navigate to Settings > Payment history
  2. Click Download to download a VAT invoice receipt
