To create a free (more:trees) account, head to plant.moretrees.eco/register and complete the registration details.
Note: if you have a referral or sign-up code, please enter it in the relevant box.
Updating your profile
To update your profile information or settings, sign into your (more:trees) account and go to Settings > User settings.
Here you can amend:
First and last names
Company name (this is the name that will appear on your planting certificates)
Marketing opt in/out (note that to receive project and platform updates you must be opted in)
Third-party confirmation email on/off (this is the email that goes out when you plant someone else a tree)
To amend you email address, please send an email from your registered email address to [email protected] with details of the change.
Customising the email message/template
When you plant a tree for someone on (more:trees), the system automatically sends that person an email telling them about their tree.
Selecting an email template
You can choose the email template you want to be sent when planting a tree:
Go to: Main menu > Email templates > Templates
Choose from three predefined templates: general, Christmas and birthday
Click Set as default.
Editing the sender name and custom message
Go to Main menu > Email templates > Template settings
Add the sender name and/or custom message
Creating your own email template
You can design your own outgoing email using the email template designer:
Go to Main menu > Email templates > Add new template
Give your template a name
Use the drag-and-drop designer to create your own email, or upload your own HTML
Set your template to live/default by going to Main menu > Email templates >templates and clicking Set as default for your chosen template.
Note: to switch the outgoing email off, go to Settings > User settings
Funding your account
There are three ways to pay for trees on (more:trees):
1. Pay as you plant -you will be prompted to enter payment details as you go to plant trees.
2. Pre-load your account – you can pre-load your account with ‘eco credits’, which are then deducted from when planting trees. This is useful for businesses who want to make a bulk purchase but aren’t ready to plant their trees all at once.
To pre-load your account, head to Credits > Buy credits in the main menu. Here you can select or enter the number of credits you wish to purchase, and make payment by debit/credit card or bank transfer.
Note:if paying by bank transfer, be sure to click the Bank transfer made button once complete. We’ll credit your account as soon as payment is received.
3. Auto top-up – you can automatically top up your eco credits using auto top-up. This is useful when automating tree planting.
To enable auto top-up, head to Credits > Auto top-up in the main menu. Here you can enter a trigger threshold and top-up amount (e.g. if my balance falls below 5, top up by £100)
Accessing partner resources
As a (more:trees) member, you have access to a number of partner resources.
From the main menu, go to Partner resources >
Partner logos – member logos are available to download for use on your website, social media and marketing. Note that these are available after planting at least 10 trees.
Widget – copy this HTML code to your website to display your live tree count.
Virtual forest – enter and save a virtual forest name (normally your personal or business name) to create a unique URL for your tree planting stats and badges
You can also opt into our marketing and project updates from Settings > User settings.
If you’d like to export your planting history so you can search or report, you can do so from the main dashboard.
Go to the Dashboard from the main menu
Scroll to the bottom and click View all under recently planted or received trees (depending on the data you wish to view)
At the top of the screen, click the button Download recently planted
